Diego Costa has been in fine form for Chelsea this season – and the Chelsea fans in the Tavern were under the assumption that he was past the worst of his injury troubles; having played nearly every minute of the Premier League season thus far.
However, as with many things – if it seems too good to be true; it probably is: and Antonio Conte will not be happy.
As per Sky Sports News on Twitter, Diego Costa has been ruled out of Spain’s next 2 international fixtures; with ex-Liverpool man Iago Aspas coming into replace the Chelsea forward.

This could be huge for Chelsea in the context of the season, as Diego Costa’s goals have played a huge part in Chelsea’s return to form.
Whilst Sky Sports News do not specify whether Costa will be ready for Chelsea’s next game, the fact that he will miss both of the international fixtures will likely mean that he is not at 100% regardless.
What’s more, should Costa be unavailable for Chelsea – it would likely mean a first Premier League start for Michy Batshuayi; who has yet to feature much for the Blues so far this season.
