Days to go: 1 in, 2 out – The transfer business Man Utd need to conduct ASAP

Our Manchester United fans are keen to see a few more deals before the deadline this month with the Red Devils eager to get into the title race.

The Old Trafford side have at last found their rhythm under Jose Mourinho and despite two draws in their last two Premier League games, they look close to their old selves.

That will be worrying for the rest of the league, though it looks like Chelsea will be too far away for the club to catch this time around.

Even so, they can lay the markers down for a title win next season this year and qualify for Champions League football for that campaign.

In the meantime, though, work still needs to be done in this window to prepare for that and our landlord reckons this player should come in whilst these two should be on their way…

 Out: Daley Blind

The Dutch defender has undergone quite the change in terms of playing time this season and not in a good way for him.

Once a versatile mainstay for United, Blind has fallen out of favour for Matteo Darmian under Jose Mourinho and our landlord reckons he’d be much better off in moving on before the deadline. He could easily do a job somewhere else and our landlord thinks plenty would be interested in signing him.

 In: Nelson Semedo

Antonio Valencia has been superb at right back this season but that doesn’t mean United shouldn’t strengthen there.

If they are to challenge for the title and the Champions League next season the club need strength in depth and their right back area is certainly short of quality. Step forward Nelson Semedo, then, who would be an absolutely quality signing as well as one with Champions League know-how.

Out: Bastian Schweinsteiger

The German needs to move on according to our landlord – it’s as simple as that.

He may feel he’s got a chance of getting back into the side under Mourinho but our landlord reckons that’s all an act and the Portuguese manager has no real plans to use him. The former Bayern Munich man has plenty to offer elsewhere, though, and would be a top signing for many a side around Europe – let alone the Premier League.
