The West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern all held their head in their hands as they saw the latest injury news.
Over the international break, Javier Hernandez limped off while representing Mexico and early indications are suggesting that he has suffered a suspected hamstring injury.
This news just piles more misery onto the Hammers, who sit in the bottom three over the international break and have recently parted ways with Slaven Bilic.
David Moyes, his replacement, now looks likely to be without their leading marksman for the first few games of his tenure.
The 29-year-old has netted four goals for the struggling Hammers this season and possibly holds the key to survival.
West Ham fans were understandably upset and annoyed by this news.
They took to Twitter to air their views and vent their frustration.
Here are a selection of some of the tweets in response to this update.
Big blow but makes the decision to play AC easier as I’m sure that was gonna be the case anyhow

Maybe if he had done training under Moyes and not Bilic he would have been fit enough to play 90 minutes without hurting himself
