Aston Villa supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern can look forward to tonight’s clash with Manchester United safe in the knowledge they have completed their tenth signing of the summer.
The Villains have confirmed that Barcelona starlet Adama Traore has signed at Villa Park for a fee believed to be in the region of £7 million.
The 19-year-old has signed a five year contract for Tim Sherwood’s side, and he will undoubtedly add to his attacking options this season.
Traore has managed four appearances for Barcelona’s senior side, with the majority of his appearances coming for the B Side. He leaves with a record of eight goals in 63 Segunda Division games, and having represented Spain at under-16, under-17 and under-19 levels.
Our resident Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are extremely excited about seeing Traore ply his trade for the club, and feel he could have a monumental impact on the side this season – but most of them admit they are aware he is only 19, so fans should not put too much pressure on him just yet!
