Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait for their side to get going this season as they are seemingly well-prepared for a promotion battle.
The men from Villa Park have had a superb summer with the likes of John Terry arriving and now it is up to Steve Bruce to try and get a promotion winning tune out of his squad.
For sure, he’ll have the backing of Dr. Tony Xia to do so with the chairman proving himself to be one of the most loyal around in recent times.
And, in his typically enigmatic way, after being levelled a criticism over the rather baffling story that the club has run out of ‘R’s for shirts due to Terry’s signing by a fan, Xia has responded on Twitter.
