Aston Villa will be entering this weekend knowing a win over playoff chasing Reading could well give them a glimmer of hope of still making the playoff’s in the Championship.
A win could potentially move them to within nine points of the top six, though securing a playoff spot does look unlikely.
The Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been happier though of late, as Steve Bruce has managed to turn things round and Jonathan Kodjia has been firing in the goals for the Villans.
However, this weekend represents a really tough game for Bruce and his men, with Reading having a very impressive season indeed.
Following Villa’s 1-1 draw with Burton last time out, Bruce could well opt to make a few changes to his team, so with this in mind, here are TWO Villa players who could be axed from today’s game with Reading…
Albert Adomah

The winger was taken off against Burton last time out and with such talent in the ranks at Villa waiting in the wings, he could well be dropped for today.
Adomah has been a regular feature in the team this season, but Bruce could well go with other options today as he looks for three points against the Royals.
Henri Lansbury

The January signing from Nottingham Forest has been in and out of the team for Villa, and after starting last time out, he could well find himself out of the XI again.
With Jack Grealish replacing him last time out at Burton, Lansbury could well make way for the tricky Villa youngster from the start this weekend.
