Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are still toasting their players after what was a resilient performance at Newcastle last night.
After a fairly open first half in which both sides hit the post, the hosts really started to turn up the wick before managing to go in front.
Indeed, they pushed for more, too, but the Whites’ defence was superb and Rob Green put in a simply brilliant performance in between the sticks.
And, as the clock ran down with only one goal in it, the visitors pushed for that equaliser – getting it deep into stoppage time via Chris Wood.
The striker, then, got most of the praise for his cool finish but Leeds fans were also quick to credit Rob Green as a big part of the result and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what was said on Twitter:
