Everton: Fans buzz as Morgan Schneiderlin nears possible transfer exit to Nice

Many Everton fans have been buzzing after it was reported by Nice-Matin that Morgan Schneiderlin is nearing a possible transfer exit from the Merseyside club to French outfit OGC Nice.

As per the report, both teams are in advanced talks over a transfer agreement for the central midfield player for the upcoming summer transfer window. The two sides have not yet decided on a fee between them but it is still very likely that Schneiderlin could be on his way to France if a figure can be agreed.

The 30-year old has featured in 88 games in all competitions for the Toffees across four consecutive seasons but has not always played the full 90 minutes, according to Transfermarkt. Having cost a whopping £20.7m to take him from Manchester United in 2017, perhaps Schneiderlin needed to have played more matches on a more consistent basis to justify his price.
