Everton: Fans destroy display of Bernard v Aston Villa

Loads of Everton fans have been destroying the display of Bernard in their Premier League home game at Goodison Park versus Dean Smith’s Aston Villa, where the score ended 1-1.

AVFC are currently battling relegation from the top flight at the moment but took the lead through Ezri Konsa before Theo Walcott saved a point for Carlo Ancelotti’s team relatively late on in the match.

There were arguably a few rather disappointing performances for the hosts, but Bernard seemed to stand out like a sore thumb for several members of the Toffees faithful.

The Brazilian international failed to register a single shot on target, and also did not manage to make a key pass or accurate cross while losing the ball eight times, according to Sofascore.

Playing out wide on the left, Bernard was subbed off for Anthony Gordon after just 62 minutes, earning him a relatively low 6.5 rating on the website.

These EFC supporters destroyed the performance of the winger on Twitter, with one Blue even labelling him as ‘abysmal’:
