According to Nicolo Schira, Everton are in conversation to acquire the services of Venezuelan forward Yeferson Soteldo.
Amid their talks of shipping out several deadwood players this summer, the Blues will need to bring in back up for their forwards as they plan on getting rid of most of their strikers (via Liverpool Echo).
Soteldo currently plays for Brazilian team Santos and has a total of 23 career goals and 28 assists across the four clubs he has played for. The 22-year-old is valued at just £9million (via Transfermarkt).

The left-winger made a move to Santos at the start of 2019, transferring from the Chilean league where he played for Huachipato FC. He signed for £2.75million, and his valuation has grown during his first year in Brazil (via Transfermarkt).
Everton fans aren’t exactly jumping for joy over the transfer link, with a couple of supporters pointing out that the 22-year-old is ‘even smaller than Bernard’.
