Many Everton fans have been left fuming as Fabrizio Romano has dropped a transfer update on their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee.
As per a tweet from the Italian football journalist and transfer guru, the Bayern Munich man is getting closer to moving to Parma, with the deal at its final stages as the Serie A club wait for an answer from the current Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League holders.

It would be a loan deal with an option to buy of around €15m (£13.3m) and Zirkzee would be a starter for the Italian team.
This will come as a blow to several members of the Goodison Park faithful who have been crying out for a back-up striker for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to be signed in this month’s window, and it now looks as if any hopes of them signing Zirkzee are slipping away through their fingers.
