Loads of Everton fans are loving the analysis that Jamie Carragher has done on Carlo Ancelotti and the Merseyside Derby on Monday Night Football.
Sharing his analysis on his official Twitter page, the Reds legend said that the Italian boss was only looking at getting the three points for their ambitions to qualify for European competition for the 2021/22 term – basically forgetting that they were playing their bitter rivals, taking the emotion out and focusing only on tactics.

He also analysed the vital role that James Rodriguez played in playing the through ball for Richarlison to open the scoring, adding that Ancelotti got it tactically right to play him in the number ten position.
Carragher also analysed the role that Seamus Coleman had to play in keeping Andy Robertson out of the match, with Ancelotti deciding to play the Republic of Ireland international on the right side of midfield rather than at right-back, and his ability to switch between formations.
