Everton fans have been pleased with the ongoing progression of youngster Anthony Gordon, who has said that he wants to “keep getting better”.
The 18-year-old is waiting patiently for his opportunity in the first team and is not taking anything for granted, he told the club’s official website.
Gordon has been one of the U23s’ standout performers this season and his versatility could become useful to manager Marco Silva going forward. He can play in the attacking midfield role and on the left-wing.
He has scored five goals and provided two assists in eight Premier League 2 matches during the current campaign.
