Everton: Fans react as Carlo Ancelotti wants to stay past 2024

Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to the news that Carlo Ancelotti wants to stay at the Goodison Park faithful past 2024.

As per his comments on the official website of the Merseyside club, the Italian boss said when asked about his future at the Toffees:

“Yes, of course [I want to stay past 2024], but it doesn’t mean we can’t be competitive before the end of this contract. We can win trophies before then.”

This will come as a welcome boost to several Blues around the world given his pedigree in the beautiful game and the fact that he is doing so well at the moment.

EFC currently sit in fifth spot in the Premier League table at the moment on 23 points from 13 games, just one point and place outside of the top four, where they could clinch qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

They are also in the quarter-final stage of the Carabao Cup, where they will face Manchester United for a place in the semis.
