Everton: Fans react as Fenerbache in talks with Marcel Brands about signing Cenk Tosun; Bernard and Yerry Mina also in the picture

Lots of Everton fans have been reacting to the news from Fotospor (via The Gwladys Street) that the sporting director of Fenerbache is reportedly going to hold a meeting with Marcel Brands about the possibility of signing Cenk Tosun.

As per the outlet, there are also question marks over whether Bernard and Yerry Mina could be signed as well in the upcoming summer transfer window, as the Turkish club look to make a triple raid on Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

Indeed, all three players are arguably in need of being moved on based off some of their stats for the Merseyside club so far.

Tosun, who signed for a whopping £20.25 million from Besiktas, has only managed to score 10 goals and make six assists in 51 games in all competitions, and has only played in eight matches so far in the 2019/20 season having being loaned out to Crystal Palace, according to Transfermarkt.

A man deemed surplus to requirements being sent out on loan, the striker has arguably not lived up to his relatively hefty price tag.

Bernard is another one who should arguably be producing better stats, with just five strikes and six assists in 64 appearances in all competitions, and the Toffees could potentially make a profit on him having signed him for free.

Mina has a history of injury problems and has been inferior to Mason Holgate and Michael Keane in some key stats for a central defender in the Premier League in the 2019/20 season, averaging fewer interceptions and clearances (via Whoscored).
