Plenty of Everton fans are slamming Jean-Clair Todibo as Sport (via The Gwladys Street) reported that the Merseyside club had reached an agreement with FC Barcelona over his purchase in the upcoming summer transfer window.

As per the outlet, the Catalan giants were waiting for better offers from other teams in the hope that they would get their asking price of €25 million, which equates to roughly £22.6 million.
The Toffees have tabled a similar offer, but that included an initial €20 million with an additional €5 million in variables, not the whole €25 million up front.
No other side have matched the Blues’ offer so far and so the publication believes that Goodison Park is his most likely destination, where he is set to double his salary.
Comparing the 20-year old’s stats to Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina so far in their respective domestic leagues in the 2019/20 term, the FC Schalke 04 central defender has averaged fewer clearances and blocks than all three, according to Whoscored.

Perhaps these EFC supporters were right to slam the Frenchman on Twitter given these stats and the price tag set on him. One even compared him to John Stones, suggesting he thinks he is a good ball player but will make mistakes – the England man has made quite a few high profile errors of late.

Therefore, the Spanish champions are set to give the all-important ‘OK’ for the former Toulouse man’s sale. The player is set to double his salary once he joins his most likely destination of Goodison Park. (Source: Sport)#EFC pic.twitter.com/gJ8ryRvJxN

Don’t waste the money on him, he’s another Stones, thinks he’s a ball player

Me either, watched him playing for schalke and he was rubbish

Had a chance to watch him since return of Bundesliga and not been convinced myself. Zouma a better target I think. Stones even?

Rather sign Gabriel looks a better prospect

Not much of an agreement then is it?
