Loads of Everton fans criticised pundit Kevin Nolan after he suggested that the Toffees should have sold Richarlison to Barcelona.
Sky Sports reported that the Catalan giants tabled an £85m bid for the Brazil international but instantly rejected the offer as Carlo Ancelotti is keen to keep hold of his key assets. The La Liga side are looking for a replacement for Luis Suarez as he recovers from knee surgery, as per the Express.
Richarlison recently signed a new five-year contract in December. However, Nolan told talkSPORT that the Blues should have accepted the bid from Spain and believes that the majority of the Gwladys Street faithful would have done just that.
Supporters did not agree and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan called him “clueless” due to how close the transfer deadline is, while another said that he was wrong and suggested not to put his opinions across about the blue half of Merseyside.

I’m pretty sure I speak for majority of Everton fans that they don’t give a hoot what Liverpool fan Kevin Nolan thinks

A fella who doesn’t have a clue what any evertonian wants. Don’t speak on behalf of our fan base, ever again.

Shut up. Most Everton fans would accept? Less than Lukaku? 5 year contract just signed? Ridiculous statement and I usually agree with lots of what you say. Kevin Nolan can shove off though.

🤣🤣 why would we have accepted it. Sell our best player in January an not gonna find a suitable replacement. Is he worth £100m which is what it’ll probably take, no, but in the modern market he is. No Everton fan would say accept it ahah, we don’t need the cash either.

Why would we sell our best player in January with 2 days to go? Clueless

Well Kevin, you’re wrong. Anything else we can help you with. Don’t bother.
