Loads of Everton fans have been hammering Yerry Mina as Carlo Ancelotti has given an injury update ahead of their Premier League game against Dean Smith’s Aston Villa on Thursday.
As per the Merseyside club’s official website, the Italian boss is hoping that both Andre Gomes and Mason Holgate will be fit for the match at Goodison Park. However, he revealed that Mina will have to be assessed after sustaining a muscular injury in the 3-0 defeat at Molineux to Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves on Sunday.

Despite the potentially good news that both Gomes and Holgate could well be back to face Aston Villa, several Toffees supporters turned their attentions to destroying Mina on Twitter after his latest injury setback.
The 25-year old has a previous history of injury woes with the Toffees as well as with Barcelona and Palmeiras in Brazil, according to Transfermarkt.
Nonetheless, Mina has managed to play in 33 games in all competitions so far in the 2019/20 season having been relatively injury-free, but it seems as if his past problems have come back to haunt the Colombian international.
