Lots of Everton fans have been speculating as the Daily Star have reported that Carlo Ancelotti is growing more frustrated with the hierarchy of the Merseyside club after missing out on key transfer targets.
Indeed, the Toffees missed out on the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur after they themselves were reportedly closing in on the former Southampton man.

Now Gabriel Magalhaes, who was also a reported transfer target for the Blues throughout the summer, is set to join up with Mikel Arteta at Arsenal from LOSC Lille for £27 million.
After missing out on two key transfer targets already, perhaps it is understandable that Ancelotti is growing increasingly frustrated at Goodison Park, and if he does not manage to get the players in that he would like, maybe his time at EFC is limited.

These supporters speculated on Twitter that the Italian boss will leave if he is not backed in the market:
He will leave end of the season. Promised the world, given nothing.

He will be gone by Christmas

He won’t stay if we don’t make some significant signings that’s for sure

20/1 with Skybet to be the next manager to lose job. If we don’t get some of his signings in I can see him walking. Could be a good bet.

He’ll walk & if he does it dont matter about a new stadium, i wouldn’t blame him either. if he can’t attract new players cos of lack of backing, no one ever will for us in my opinion. @MrAncelotti is the real deal! We’lljust be a mediocre club with no real ambition😞🤷♂️ @Everton
