Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see their side get going in the Championship this season as they are largely expecting a promotion challenge.
Indeed, after last season saw them eventually stabilise in the second tier many now think they have the tools to try and get themselves back in the Premier League and our landlord is certainly one of those in that camp.
For sure, though, they cannot expect to just roll up and win games so there’s going to be plenty of graft needing to be put in – starting from today.
