And, with 13 goals in 88 appearances for his national side Croatia, it’s safe to say that Ivan Rakitic has the quality to perform at the highest level on a world stage.

Although, over the past couple of seasons he’s struggled to nail down a starting place in the side, with the recent addition of Philippe Coutinho not helping his cause. A frustrating sign to see one of the world’s best midfielders only being utilized as a bench player, something that’s stopping the 29-year-old from reaching his maximum potential.
