With pre-season now well underway, the excitement for the new Premier League season is growing here in the Transfer Tavern.
The Manchester United fans are some of the most excited with Jose Mourinho starting work at Old Trafford with the mission of bringing the league title back to the club.
The former Chelsea boss has plenty of work to do to turn the club back into title contenders but many think he is the best man to do it given his track record. Wherever he has worked he has delivered titles and trophies and the United faithful will be sorely disappointed if he cannot do the same with their team.
Mourinho will have already started assessing who isn’t needed for his title push and given his nature, those players could be set for some very swift exits this Summer once he’s made his mind up.
Our landlord think there’s at least four that could be on their way in this transfer window and it’s going to be these players – what do you think?
Ander Herrera

Ander Herrera joined the club from La Liga with an emerging reputation and his move to Man United was expected to be the platform he needed to take his game to the next level.
So far, that hasn’t happened quite as hoped and Mourinho might feel the club would be better off getting in replacements.
The likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan have come in to knock the Spanish ace further down the pecking order and he could be on his way out soon.
Juan Mata

It’s an unfortunate turn of events for the Spaniard but many in the footballing world think his United career could be coming to an end.
Mourinho got rid of the former Valencia man when they were both at Chelsea despite his standing as the club’s reigning Player of the Year.
The World Cup winner looked to revive his career at Old Trafford but that is now in jeopardy and he could have to start over once more.
Phil Jones

The self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ bases his team’s on a strong defence and will feel that Phil Jones is not going to be a part of that. As a result, he dropped behind Chris Smalling and Daley Blind last season with injury worries.
With £30m Eric Bailly drafted in, the former Blackburn Rovers man could see playing time limited even further as Mourinho likes a settled defence.
Morgan Schneiderlin

The Frenchman has endured an underwhelming time at Old Trafford since his move from Southampton and could find playing time hard to come by as Mourinho looks to shake up United’s midfield.
The Portuguese likes to have a top drawer holding midfielder in his team and Schnedierlin doesn’t really fit this profile. It’s for this reason he could be soon looking for a new club.
