Glasgow Rangers: Fans go wild over new line-up for Rangers TV

Glasgow Rangers’ announcement of the new line-up for Rangers TV met with an enthusiastic reaction from many of the Ibrox faithful.

As per the club’s official website and Twitter channel, the ‘Gers confirmed the make-up of their commentary and punditry teams for the club’s own-brand TV channel.

The club announced that the matchday line-up will include appearances from former Ibrox managers Graeme Souness and Walter Smith, who between them led the ‘Gers to nine successive Premiership titles between 1989 and 1997.

Former ‘Gers duo Neil McCann and Alex Rae will also be among the analysts, along with Scotland women’s team coach Shelley Kerr, while Emma Dodds assumes the role of presenter. Commentary duties for home fixtures will be shared by Clive Tyldesley and Tom Miller. [via rangers.co.uk]

Current squad member Nikola Katic is also set to appear on Rangers TV as he continues his recovery from injury, with the Croatian set to be among the channel’s line-up for Sunday’s home clash against St Mirren. [via rangers.co.uk]
