The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been getting increasingly frustrated with their club as on-going talks are taking forever and no progress seems to be being made in their pursuit of signings.
Abel Hernandez's agent quoted in South America as saying Hernandez now has an offer from CSKA Moscow. Leeds been holding off on that one. Unsure whether to commit the funds with other talks (like Vydra) going on. #lufc

The fans have been refreshing Phl Hay’s Twitter feed every 15 minutes for the last month. The fans are desperate for the club to take action and despite The Whites threatening to make the signings of Matej Vydra, Abel Hernandez and David Stockdale, the club is not further forward with none of the signed. The deal for Stockdale looks dead and Hernandez’s wage demands look too steep, with only Vydra remaining a possibility.
For Leeds fans, it’s likely that the best news of the summer has already been and gone with the capture of Marcelo Bielsa. However, the Argentine gaffer can’t win anything without the right players and at the moment, it looks like the club has given an excellent workman no tools to work with. The fans will be keen to see who Bielsa an influence in the market and bring in whilst they keep their fingers crossed that they can get something concrete soon.
With that in mind, here’s our local Whites’ verdict on their club’s summer so far:
Vydra £11m
Hernandez £3m (signing on fee, £30k wage)In the grand scheme of things it really isn’t that much more to commit. Just get both done @andrearadri

You and everyone else knows we aren't going to sign either of them…we'll end up with a striker from some 2nd class euro league who scored 2 goals in 50 odd games last year…same year in year out #lufc

Talks with Vydra… what are they discussing? The meaning of life?

Brexit deal negotiations move quicker than our transfer deals.

Why does everything take so long with Leeds. Regardless of owner, state of club or target.

Whilst the fans are getting increasingly frustrated, it’s better to see the club take their time over the right signing instead of panic buying a Championship flop.
