Glasgow Rangers have had a good pre-season so far.
The Gers beat Hamilton Academical in their first game 2-1 before they travelled to France to take part in the Veolia Trophy. The Ibrox outfit faced Nice and Lyon, two good Ligue 1 sides, and put in solid performances to win both matches 2-0.

However, it hasn’t all been rosey – the Gers were beaten 4-1 by Dundee United in a friendly on Wednesday. Granted, it was officially the B team, but the likes of Calvin Bassey, Glen Middleton and Kai Kennedy were all involved, and this will have done little to impress Steven Gerrard and convince him that they will be able to step up to the first team.

The Gers supporters, it is fair to say, are far from happy with the result – one fan even called it “embarrassing”. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.

SG effectively throwing them under the bus and seeing who can get out from under the wheels in time. Sounds like no one.
