As per Football Insider, Barrow AFC are interested in signing Jamie Barjonas this summer.

Barrow were recently promoted to League 2 from the National League as champions, ending a 48-year spell outside of the Football League.

They are therefore looking to add to their squad, and they have targetted Barjonas. The Gers are ready to loan out the 21-year-old, who has just 10 months left on his contract at Ibrox.

Barjonas was recently praised by Steven Gerrard after scoring for the Gers in their pre-season friendly, but he has so far failed to make a real impact at Ibrox. He has just nine first team appearances for the 54-time Scottish champions to date, and has managed just a further 24 games out on loan despite his age.

With a Transfermarkt value of £23,000, there is little point in trying to sell him, and a strong season away from the Gers may give him one last chance at trying to break into Gerrard’s starting XI on a regular basis. If the Gers, Barjonas and Barrow can strike a deal, it could be great news for all involved.
