Glasgow Rangers have had a solid start to the new Premiership campaign, and they continued that promising form against St. Johnstone on Wednesday.

Going into the third match of the campaign, at Ibrox, the Gers had already dispatched Aberdeen and St. Mirren, who they beat 1-0 and 3-0 respectively. Against the Saints, they also won 3-0, with Joe Aribo, Ryan Kent and Borna Barisic scoring the goals – as is stands, they are now top of the league, and have a lead of five points over their fierce city rivals and title challengers Celtic.
Barisic, in particular, had a wonderful match. Not only did he score, but he also provided an assist, helped the team to a clean sheet and picked up a WhoScored rating of 8.34 – the highest of anyone on the pitch. And it is fair to say that the supporters were delighted with his display.

They took to Twitter to share their thoughts – one fan even called him the “£30m man” whilst another suggested he is going to be worth more than Alfredo Morelos. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Innet looked pretty sharp and direct when he came on…the keeper looks like a good acquisition and kamara had a decent game…and borna’s gonna be worth more than Morelos if he continues to play like that

Borna Barisic really is an indispensable player.
I’ve never seen that man put in a bad performance since that St.Mirren free kick last season.
Never doubted him.. :/
