On the pitch, Barry Ferguson was a legend for Glasgow Rangers.
Across two spells with the ‘Gers, Ferguson wrote himself into the club’s history books to become one of the greatest players to appear for the club. All in all, he would made more than 300 appearances for the ‘Gers, helping them to win 15 trophies, including five Premiership titles.

However, off the pitch, he is not quite as big a hit with some of the club’s supporters. He has been slammed in the past for his comments on the ‘Gers, and he has once again incurred the wrath of some of the Ibrox faithful, this time whilst talking about his nephew Lewis Ferguson, who currently plays for Aberdeen.

Ferguson says that, given the chance, Lewis could become the best player in Scotland, and it appears that some ‘Gers fans wholeheartedly disagree. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below:
