Glasgow Rangers’ B team match against Dundee United was far from a positive day at the office in more than one aspect it seems.
A back-up Gers XI faced their Scottish rivals earlier this week, and the Ibrox outfit were beaten 4-1. Whilst it was far from a full-strength side, there were several players such as Jordan Jones, Lewis Mayo and Kai Kennedy involved, all of whom will be hoping to play some part for the first team this term.

Not only that, it now appears the SFA will launch a probe into the 54-time Scottish champions according to The Daily Record’s Keith Jackson. He says that as many as nine Gers players appeared in the match despite not being given the medical all-clear to do so.

This has attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, and it is fair to say that they are far from happy with the news. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.

This will be an ever present feature this season. To the point that when Clancy was mentioned the other night I immediately thought Morelos would be red carded and banned for the start of the season.
