‘Going to be a fantastic summer’ - Rangers fans loved transfer update on Twitter

The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are buzzing for the summer after reading a post from the reliable Twitter account, Four Lads Had a Dream’s post that claims the club have been working extremely hard behind the scenes and that they are in for an ‘exciting summer’.

Rangers have moved into a new era with the appointment of Steven Gerrard. The club have had a few disappointing seasons since being back among Scotland’s finest in the Scottish Premier League, although they’ve failed to challenge their Glasgow rivals, Celtic. The Hoops completed Scottish football’s first ever double-treble, winning the last six available major domestic honours and completely starving the rest of the Scottish top flight with any hope of silverware.

However, the Gers will be hoping that’s all going to be changing very soon. Steven Gerrard’s appointment marks promising times for the club as everyone associated with the club will be hoping the Liverpool legend can breathe some new life into the club. The fans have been enthusiastic so far and have been very much behind the former Egland captain as he moved to bring in both Scott Arfield and Allan McGregor to Ibrox, although they’ll be hoping that many more players are set to follow the pair in the coming weeks.
