Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern really have enjoyed this season and are hoping for it to finish with a flourish – culminating in a return to the Premier League.
The Whites have been away from the top flight since 2003/04, of course, and are now looking like a real side to be reckoned with once again as they face Newcastle next time out.
They’ll be confident of getting a result against the Magpies, too, with them possessing players now that can win any game in this division.
Certainly, the Leeds squad is the strongest it’s looked for some time which is why the fans are going to have a tough time of picking who their Player of the Year is going to be.
Voting opened today for three awards, then, (Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season) via the club’s official Twitter account and, naturally, fans were quick to express their views.
