The anticipation is building here in the Transfer Tavern as Tottenham prepare to face Arsenal in the first North-London derby of the season.
Mauricio Pochettino and his side will be chomping at the bit to end a 7-year run without a win at the Emirates this weekend and apply some pressure onto league-leaders Manchester City.
The Lilywhites received a welcome boost this morning, as the club’s official Twitter page announced that Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Michel Vorm have all returned to full training today.

After being called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the national sides friendlies against Germany and Brazil, the Tottenham pairing of Kane, and Winks dropped out of the squad due to injury concerns. Alli had already withdrawn before Southgate announced his squad.
The team news update has prompted a backlash from plenty of fans on Twitter, who believe the return to training just 2 days before the North-London derby is far too convenient to be considered a coincidence.
On the other hand, the Tottenham fans are just delighted to have their star players back for one of the biggest games of the season, particularly after the wording of the tweet gave supporters cause for concern.
Without the presence of Harry Kane, Tottenham looked short of inspiration against Manchester United last month, so the news is sure to massively boost the optimism at the club ahead of Saturday.
Here’s how the fans reacted to the news on Twitter…
