Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see the kind of squad Rafa Benitez manages to put together for their assault on the Premier League this season coming.
The Magpies are back in the top flight after a top season in the Championship and now the onus is on them to make sure they stay put for the foreseeable future.
For sure, then, new signings are going to be a must in that regard whilst it also appears as though Siem De Jong wants to act like a new signing and have one more chance with the club – as per Lee Ryder on Twitter:
