Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their side to get going this season in the Premier League as they are hoping for a strong campaign.
For sure, though the minimum aim is to just stay in the division come the end of the season, many Magpies fans want to see their club really go for it and try and at least get into the top half.
Certainly, Rafa Benitez is going to need to sign some top players to allow him to do that but he’s going to have to do it without the help of scout Graham Carr who has left by mutual consent.
