Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward greatly to this weekend as they host Birmingham at Villa Park in the Second City Derby.
The club is looking far more stable under Steve Bruce these days and they’d surely like nothing more than a win over the Blues to potentially send them into League 1.
The atmosphere will be raucous at Villa Park, then, and it will need to be to help Villa beat their rivals with Jonathan Kodjia suspended for this one.
Indeed, that news was confirmed by the club on their Twitter account last night after his red card against Fulham and, naturally, Villans have been quick to react.
