Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been feeling upbeat this week even if the club missed out on the play-offs at this very late stage in the year.
Of course, this season will be tinged with disappointment but there can be no doubt that the club has made progress this season and many Whites supporters simply cannot wait for 2017/18 to kick-off.
Indeed, the men from Elland Road will certainly be one of the favourites to earn promotion at the start of the campaign with the fan-base looking as united as they have for some time.
And, if they keep Garry Monk in charge, things will surely be looking up even more so next year.
Last weekend, then, saw the chance for the players to thank the fans and after the video of that was posted onto the club’s official Twitter, more supporters were quick to react.
