‘I’d have a £60m bid’ – Loads of Man Utd fans are urging Mourinho to land £22.5m-rated star

Man United fans are calling for the club to sigh Harry Maguire from Leicester City. The Red Devils are in need of a bit of a defensive rebuild, owing to the poor collection of players currently plying their trade at Old Trafford. Between the likes of Phil Jones, Daley Blind and Chris Smalling, Jose Mourinho’s options in comparison to his rivals are limited at best. If he wants to win the Premier League, that must change.

Maguire has impressed for Leicester City over the last year, with the former Sheffield United star delivering consistent and dominant performances in the heart of the defence. The Foxes were often on the back foot last season, but their defensive tasks were made far easier by his presence.

The Englishman, who is rated at £22.5 million by Transfer Markt, has seen his stock rise dramatically this summer during the World Cup. He’s been one of England’s better performers at this summer’s tournament, and Man Utd fans online have clearly taken note.

Indeed, a lot of Man Utd fans have been discussing the Leicester City man on Twitter, and they’ve fired a message to Ed Woodward and Jose Mourinho – sign him up!

#MUFC should be inquiring about Maguire. He's been very impressive physically and handy enough on the ball too. He'd be a clear upgrade on Smalling or Jones.
