Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see their side in action as they look to nick the Championship title away from Brighton this weekend.
The Magpies are going to be back in the Premier League next season and that, of course, is all that matters to the club’s fans but there can be no doubt that winning the trophy would be an added bonus.
Indeed, it’s fitting that both sides can still win the league given they’ve been the main two this season but whilst we wait to see who prevails a report has emerged suggesting Rafa Benitez will have £70m to spend this summer.
