It’s been a pretty miserable season for the Aston Villa fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, despite a recent run of reasonably good form.
Few could have imaged the lowly position in the Championship table they now find themselves in at the start of the campaign and those in the Midlands are gearing up for another season in England’s second tier next time around, much to their chagrin.
