Hours before the Manchester derby last night, the Transfer Tavern filled up as punters rolled in to watch what was supposed to be one of the best games of the season.
Still, both City and United contested a rather drab affair at the Etihad last night, much to the annoyance of the millions who must have watched two of the most expensively assembled sides in the world in a state of total boredom.
Indeed, Jose Mourinho vs Pep Guardiola failed to live up to its billing once again and the footballing world came to together to issue a collective sigh.
Arsenal legend and regular TV pundit Ian Wright best summed it up. He took to Twitter to demonstrate just how bored he was watching it with a funny photo.

For the punters in the bar, they toasted Wright in agreement, barely keeping their eyes open after last night’s bore fest.
