Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are enjoying the football their side is playing this season with them unbeaten in the Championship so far this year.
Indeed, the Whites have won two and drawn two so far in this campaign with their latest victory coming away at Sunderland in a very impressive 2-0 win.
For sure, then, if the club can start winning at home and keeping their away form up they’re going to be there or thereabouts in the promotion race come the end of the campaign but Chris Wood will not be part of that.
The powerful striker is set to join Burnley after the news broke over the weekend that a deal had been agreed but the Whites look a tight-knit bunch and the story doesn’t seem to have bothered them too much.
Meanwhile, then, fans will be waiting on a replacement and after Thomas Christensen said a search is underway – via The Yorkshire Evening Post and their Twitter account – fans have had plenty to say:
