Aston Villa fans in the Transfer Tavern will be worried about the state their club finds itself in following their failure to win promotion back to the Premier League.
The Villans were beaten by Fulham in the Championship Play-Off at Wembley Stadium a few weeks back and things have not looked rosy for the locals in the bar since then.
There have been rumours that Dr Tony Xia could be ready to sell the club following their failure to be promoted since he took over and according to reports, there are fears he may sell some of the sides best players to help with their cash flow problems.
Understand Dr Xia is looking for inward investment and is prepared to sell #avfc for right price. Talks with HMRC ongoing. Administration a real concern – mainly cash flow problems in China. Insiders fear fire sale of best players. Poss biggest crisis in club’s history.

Sky Sports Rob Dorsett has stated on Twitter that the club could be facing the biggest crisis in its existence, with administration being a real concern.
Landlord’s Verdict
The Aston Villa fans in the Tavern will be concerned about the future of their club already after they had been concerned with the control previous to Xia.
The locals in the bar were delighted when Randy Lerner was bought out from the Chinese businessman, however, it looks as though the Midlands outfit could be facing the same trouble once again, but on a much larger scale.
Aston Villa fans – thoughts?
