Manchester United fans are nodding their heads here in the Football Transfer Tavern and after seeing this viral image, we cannot blame them.
After Steven Gerrard managed to flop during the FA Cup semi final against Aston Villa and their midfield, a few people made the point that he hasn’t really impressed of late – in comparison to Paul Scholes during the latter years of his career, with the Manchester United player managing to get United to a Champions League final.
We think that there is a valid debate over who out of Gerrard or Frank Lampard is better, but when it comes to Gerrard or Scholes, there is only one winner.
