With incredible wins coming seemingly every week, the Sky Blues can do no wrong at present.

However, the Premier League is an unpredictable beast, and so the manager and the players cannot go into any game expecting an easy win. They need to be at their best every single week, and that extends far beyond what happens on the pitch. Indeed, what happens ahead of the game is arguably more important, with Pep Guardiola needing to pick the perfect team for the job each week.

Gabriel Jesus started from the bench in Man City’s last game, but in typical fashion, he scored when he came on the pitch.

His spell in Manchester has been characterised by exactly that: prolific scoring.

Whenever he’s on the pitch he looks deadly, and given that he is just 20-years-old, the future looks very bright indeed. The job he’s doing in the present is simply sensational, though, and so Guardiola would be wise to utilise him every single week when he’s available.

Gabriel Jesus’ inclusion shouldn’t come at the cost of Sergio Aguero, though.

The Argentine may have less responsibility on his shoulders now with the arrival of Jesus, but he’s every bit as good as he always has been. He offers prolific goalscoring like nobody else in the Premier League at present, and so he simply has to be involved.

He’s proven this term that he can play alongside Jesus, and his young Brazilian striking partner will learn so much from playing with him on a weekly basis.
