The Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see where this season is going to take them this year.
The Reds have started in fine form with great results against Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Leicester all under their belt and look like they could be genuine title contenders this year.
It’s testament to Jurgen Klopp’s squad management that the turnaround from last season has been so good.
The Reds showed flashes, last year, of what they could do but were plagued by inconsistency as they finished eighth, but this year their finish should be a lot loftier.
How the team do, could come down to Klopp’s continued management of the team and he may be tempted to change things up a bit come January.
Our landlord thinks he’ll be tempted, too, but reckons these TWO should not be let go by the Anfield outfit…
Daniel Sturridge

Sturridge is finding it hard to force his way into the side right now with the relationship Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho have got.
Nevertheless, the Reds would be silly to let him go in January given that on his day he is still the best finisher the club have, and most fans would like to see a way for him to be in the side too under Jurgen Klopp.
Alberto Moreno

No, really.
As much maligned as Moreno is what will happen if James Milner gets injured?
The Reds were short on left-backs anyway so to let the Spaniard go midway through the season would not be the best move on the club’s behalf.
He may move on in the summer but letting the former Sevilla man go in January just would not make any sense.
