Newcastle have recovered from a shocking run with no wins and turned it around with two on the trot.
In what was a very toxic St James’ Park, fans have been treated to some better performances of late and that has subsequently brought back some belief.
Still life isn’t great in Newcastle with the owner refusing to spend but a brilliant, historic club like the Magpies have potential and that could be found if they start signing some new players.
A left-back could be a sensible decision with only Paul Dummett contesting that position currently. To add variety and competition, Newcastle should look to sign Juventus star Leonardo Spinazzola.
The 25-year-old, who is valued at £10.8 million on Transfermarkt, is a player who, despite a lack of first-team action with the Italian giants, could be a very good buy for Newcastle.
When coming back to Juventus this season after a season on-loan with Atalanta, Spinazzola hasn’t played a single minute for the first-team, prompting the belief that he will swiftly be out the exit door at Juventus once again.
He played well in the 25 appearances he made for Atalanta, providing an attacking threat with four assists as he mainly played further forward as a left-midfielder.
That too would be a position of interest for Newcastle to acquire and signing Leonardo Spinazzola could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.
Newcastle fans must realise that he can’t be a bad player if he still remains on the books with Juventus, meaning it could be exciting times ahead if they recruit a player like Spinazzola, who comes from the experience of winning.
