Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really expecting a busy summer when it comes around and they’re hoping it’s a successful one.
Indeed, they could certainly do with some success after this season (so far) has offered absolutely nothing.
Their Premier League and Champions League challenges are over, of course, but they do still have their FA Cup semi-final to go for and so it might not be all doom and gloom just yet.
Regardless of whether they win that or not, though, many Arsenal fans want Arsene Wenger to leave before 2017/18 and whilst that remains up in the air, it looks like one key coach will not be on the move.
Indeed, despite the Turkish press claiming Boro Primorac could be on the move to manage Konyaspor (via Sky Sports,) such rumours have been quashed by the Gunners – again via Sky Sports.
The club have commented that Primorac is a “key member of the coaching staff,” and that the rumours are “wild speculation.”
It looks like he won’t be going anywhere, then, but Arsenal fans are more concerned about the future of Wenger and whether or not he is going to leave the club.
