Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are still hoping for a late twist in the play-off chase, even if it is now looking unlikely this season.
The Whites sit three points off of the top six with just two games to go and they know now that their immediate future in the division is going to be decided by what the teams above them do.
Even so, the men from Elland Road and their supporters should still feel upbeat about what has at least been a progressive season and that has been reflected by a number of strong performances from their players.
Naturally, then, awards season was always going to be of interest to Leeds fans and with Phil Hay of The Yorkshire Evening Post revealing the outlet’s Player of the Year results on Twitter, fans were to quick to react.
