Aston Villa are quickly on their way up the Championship table after a brilliant run of form under new boss Dean Smith.
It was only a short while ago that Villa were alarmingly near the relegation zone, rather than the top six in the Championship but a spirited run of performances have propelled the Villans back up the table.
Dean Smith has been vital to that quick turnaround, entrusting his players and bringing the best out of every single one of them.
Problems still remain at large though with Aston Villa, the need for another defender is blindingly obvious considering the injuries and fitness issues they have endured this season.
The Championship is a long campaign that requires a big squad and each player will play a key part in any success Aston Villa may get.
The Villains then may turn to Wolves defender Kortney Hause to solve their problems.
Hause, who is valued at £900k on Transfermarkt, is a player completely out of sorts at Wolves right now but one that could do a great job for Aston Villa instead.
With just two appearances in the EFL Cup to boast about this season, it seems that his future with Wolves is very bleak.
At 23, though, his career is far from over and should really just be getting started.
Aston Villa would simply love the ability to call on a defender of his quality, considering he plays centre-back and left-back.
The former England U21 star could play a vital role in Aston Villa’s season, especially if their defenders continue to pick up injuries.
