Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see their side get underway this season as they think promotion could be on the cards.
The men from Villa Park have had a struggle in recent times but the optimism around the club seems to be back and that should translate into good performances on the pitch.
For sure, Villa need to get going quickly this season and Steve Bruce will surely be drumming that into his players at the moment with pre-season training in full swing.
And one man he’ll be looking to get in on the goal-scoring act this season is Scott Hogan with the striker tasked with battling Jonathan Kodjia for the main striker role.
